I graduated from a bilingual high school in Colombia in 1997, placing 5th overall in the graduating class. After high school, I moved to Medellin, where I attended U.P.B. for two years where I studied Advertising. Here I learned about production, video editing, photography, and design.
In 2000 I decided to move back to the United States to join the U.S. Army so I could secure funding to continue my education. As a M1A1 tank crew member, I performed various jobs and positions: I was the arms room clerk in charge of inventory, maintenance, and repair of the company’s armaments; I was an S1 supervisor at the Battalion level helping with the command and control of the unit; and my final job was as a tank commander and section leader in a platoon, where I was in charge of various soldiers working directly under me, and I was responsible for equipment worth over 3 million dollars.
After 7 years in the U.S. ARMY and 3 tours of duty, I moved back to my hometown of Miami, Fl. in 2007, where I began working towards a Bachelors of Science for Video Game Art and Design. During this time, I worked for a medical equipment supplier as a sales representative and media manager, where I interact daily with clients, as well as manage the online website. I received my Bachelor of Science in Game Art and Design in December of 2011. I graduated with Highest Honors (Cum Laude) and Distinction Honors.
Currently, I am a Product Manager at Team Velocity Marketing working with the Car-Mercial team offering different video products and solutions for the automotive industry. I live in Fort Lauderdale with my two children.
